Pirmųjų Mists of Pandaria pardavimų rezultatai

Pandos pasirodė esančios populiarios. Visame pasaulyje per pirmąją savaitę po oficialaus išleidimo (tai įvyko rugsėjo 25 dieną)buvo parduota daugiau nei 2,7 milijonai World of Warcraft papildymo, Mists of Pandaria, kopijų. Tiesa, į šį skaičių neįtraukta Kinija, nes ten žaidimas pasirodė tik spalio 2 dieną ir tikslių duomenų dar nėra. Tačiau žinant Kinijos milijardinę populiaciją, galima tikėtis ženklaus pardavimų skaičiaus kilimo.
Tačiau Mists of Pandaria debiutas buvo gerokai prastesnis nei bet kuris kitas Mists of Pandaria papildymų paketas. The Burning Crusade per pirmas 24 valandas susižėrė 2,4 milijonus kopijų, Wrath of the Lich King – 2,8 milijonus kopijų, o Cataclysm – net 3,3 milijonus kopijų per pirmąją pardavimo dieną.
Nepaisant to, Mists of Pandaria padėjo pakelti registruotų World of Warcraft skaičių iki 10 milijonų, kuris prieš porą mėnesių buvo kritęs iki 9,1 milijono. Žaidimo kūrėjai, Blizzard Entertainment, prasitarė jau kuriantys kitus du ateities World of Warcraft papildymų paketus.
Mists of Pandaria veiksmas vyksta naujame žemyne, pavadinimu Pandaria, kuriame gyvena į pandas panaši rasė, Pandarenai, puoselėjantys Tolimųjų Rytų stiliaus kultūrą.

Be abejo Blizzard neprašovė su Mists of Pandaria, tačiau mano nuomone WoW ir kitų Blizzard produktų šlovė jau praeityje. Nors WoW vis dar lyderiauja žaidžiaumiausių žaidimų topuose ir neša kūrėjams milžiniškus pelnus. Visgi mokėti, ir mokėti Lietuvos mastu visai nemažus pinigus už šituos žaidimus neverta, juolab Guild Wars 2 ir The old Republic dabar yra nemokami (F2p- free to play) ir pinigus kuriuos išleistumėt ant mėnesinio mokesčio Blizzard produktams būtų daug protingiau išleisti kam nors kitam. Manau nemokamos alternatyvos niekuo nenusileidžia WoW ar MOP
