Quake Live iš naršyklės keliasi į PC

Kompiuterinių žaidimų leidėjai, Bethesda, šiandien pranešė, kad fantastinė pirmojo asmens šaudyklė Quake Live gaus savo savarankišką klientą, t. y. žaidėjai žaidimą galės žaisti jau nebe per internetinę naršyklę, o galės siųstis žaidimo klientą į kompiuterį bei žaisti be privalomos internetinės autorizacijos.
Kai kurios buvusio Quake Live funkcijos liks pasiekiamos tik interneto naršykle, pavyzdžiui, redaguoti registruoto vartotojo duomenis, peržiūrėti draugų profilius, klanus, organizuoti Pro mačus, tačiau visi privalės parsisiųsti pilną žaidimo klientą. Deja, dėl tokio žingsnio Quake Live nebegalės žaisti Mac ir Linux operacinių sistemų naudotojai.
